Where social media, TV, and camera culture have become ingrained in daily life, it can seem that conventionally private places have become a stage for anyone to view. This project seeks to embrace and comment on this cultural trend by turning a multi-family house into a viewing platform, a stage where the public can watch “performances” of families living their daily lives. By altering glass forms in unconventional ways and studying the effects of lenses, windows can be made that control the audiences focus and direct the actors of this house how to display their lives and obscure other parts.
