This Chicago based project invites the public into green community spaces crafted around and within an apartment structure and public library. By floating and shifting a mass of cubes above the site, public spaces can exist on and between levels of program that help develop a greater sense of community. The carefully developed truss structural grid allows for open spaces and enhanced visibility, which when combined with detailed landscaping organization turns this corner site into an invitation to explore and experience some of the great things this city can offer.
